No accounts, no database

GeoPromptTracker does not require an account and does not maintain a user database. Every tool runs in your browser unless a specific tool description says otherwise.

The URL-fetch proxy

Some tools (for example the llms.txt Validator, AI Crawler Access Checker, and AI-Readiness Audit) need to fetch a URL you provide — your robots.txt, llms.txt, or page HTML. Browsers block this kind of cross-origin request directly, so these tools send the URL to our own server-side proxy, which fetches it on your behalf and returns the result to your browser.

The proxy temporarily records the requested URL and your IP address solely to enforce rate limits (to prevent abuse) and to cache successful responses for 24 hours (so repeat checks of the same URL are fast and don't need to be re-fetched). These records are stored in a key-value store with automatic expiration — rate-limit counters and cached responses are not retained indefinitely, and we do not compile them into a profile, sell them, or use them for advertising targeting.

Local storage

We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.

Advertising

This site is supported by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more and manage your ad preferences at Google's Ads Policy page.

AI-powered tools

A small number of tools on this site use a third-party AI provider to process content you paste in (for example, to suggest FAQ questions from an article). These tools are clearly labeled, are subject to daily usage limits, and send only the content you explicitly submit — that content is processed to generate a response and is not stored by us afterward.
